Entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at the age of 56. Ramon is preceded in death by his younger brother Ray and his father Ramon Sr. He is survived by his mother Carmen, his fiancé Carla, his beloved children Ramon and Carmen, and his sisters Mercedes and Alma Rosa Rivera. Further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Ramon was born on December 23rd, 1960, in Cleveland Ohio to Carmen and Ramon Sr. He moved to Milwaukee in his teenage years, and established his life there. He served in the Marines for 3 dedicated years, and later met Esther, the mother of his son Ramon, ‘Ramoncito’. Later in life he met his life partner and fiancée Carla, and had their daughter Carmen, who was named after Ramon’s mother.
Ramon was a very proud and dedicated truck driver. He frequently called his family on his trips on the road and talked about the beauty of the countryside and how much he enjoyed his work. In his leisure time he enjoyed puzzles and games that activated his mind. He enjoyed entertaining his family and the younger family members with his novice magic tricks, brightening up the room and putting everyone in a light-hearted happy place.
Ramon’s family will miss his dearly but will cherish memories they have with him. May he rest in peace knowing he is now with the Lord.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, February 20, 2017, at 9 am with Services at 11 am. Interment and Military Honors will be held at 1 pm at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
