Kodrich, Dolores “Dolly”

Neé: Dowodzenka

Dolores peacefully met our Lord Jesus, Tuesday morning, July 26 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born to Peter and Pearl Dowodzenka on Feb. 15, 1926. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harry (Marian), Clifford (Dorothy), Gerald (Phyllis) and LeRoy (Tess), Great Granddaughter Catalina and former husband of 17 years Anton Kodrich. Caring sister to JoAnn (Robert) Prei and Ronnie (Carol) Dowodzenka. Loving mother to Kurt, Kathleen (Al) Brodersen, Karl (Terry), and Dr. Kris (Yadira). Loving grandmother to Rabeka (John), Anthony, Kalia, and Bianka, great-grandmother of Jack, Cole and Sophia. Lifelong friend to the late Alice Zanski, Estelle Nester and Dorothy Piotrowski. Dolores was a graduate of Girl’s Tech in Milwaukee.

Dolly loved her family and community, always helped at church and wherever she was needed. She was an avid volunteer after retirement and was known for her generosity and helping hands. Neighbors and church family were happy recipients of her home made bakery. She was a very active member of Christian Mothers at Holy Trinity Church where she was a member for 60+ years, until her dementia made it impossible. Dolores will be remembered for her sense of humor, boldness, love of the Brewers and Packers, and her strong faith in God. She is in God’s loving arms now and is watching over all of us-she will be deeply missed by many family members, loads of friends and is forever in our hearts.

Visitation Friday, Aug. 5th at 11AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Holy Trinity Church (613 S 4th St). Mass at 1pm. Entombment St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.

Many thanks to Seasons Hospice for their loving care of our mother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Holy Trinity Church.
