Kolbe, Carol Kay

Passed away on December 19th, 2020 at the age of 69.

Preceded in death by her husband Lester Kolbe Sr., granddaughter Alissa Jo, sister Mary Ann, brother-in-law Jim, sister in law Pam, and her brother Robin.

Survived by her children, Lester Jr. (Georgia) Kolbe, Joseph (Laura) Kolbe, and Jason Kolbe. Also survived by her grandchildren, Jimmy, Sammy, Brittany, Breanna, Jacob, Alissa Jo, and Addison, and her great-grandchildren Armono, Jace, Xaxior, Elizabeth, and Santino. Sister of Mary Ann (Jim) Blazer, Ed (Jean) Lemay, Aggie (John) Thelen, Robin (Kathy) Lemay, Mike (Georgian) Lemay, Pat (Pam) Lemay, Tina (Gary) Krahn, Dedee (Brian) Mesick, Pete (Barb) Lemay, Mark (Tammy) Lemay, Lisa (Rick) Koester, and Jerry (Joy) Peters. Godmother to Lori, Lisa, and Laura. She is also loved by more nieces and nephews than you can count, and many other family members and friends.

Carol was a fun-loving and caring sister, mother, aunt, grandma, and friend. She loved going to “the land” and going camping with her family. Anyone was welcomed into her home with open arms, and you never left hungry. Even though she didn’t have much, she always sacrificed to make sure her family had what they needed. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 starting at 10am, with a service at 12pm. Procession to Forest Hill Memorial Park to follow.

    Kay was more like a mother to me and accepted me into her family. I will miss her deeply along with our coffee chats tea for her lol. Rip Kay until we meet again.
