Robert “Bob” L. Kolp (10/09/1936 – 5/21/2019)
Bob peacefully passed away at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital – Franklin, WI on May 21, 2019 due to complications from CHF.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Rose (nee Kowalski) and his brother Gerald.
He is survived by his brothers David (Kathy), and Francis (Laurie), sons Bob (Terry), Bruce (Mitzi), Scott (Madeline), daughters Mary-Terese and Amy
Further survived by Grandchildren Shannon, Ben, Jacob, Maggie, Scarlett, James and Ian. Along with Great-Grandchildren Sam and Josalyn.
Bob lived a solid life and was loved by many. First married in 1958, he worked at Johnson Service Co. later to be Johnson Controls, Inc., starting at the bottom, working his way up to Material Handling and Distribution Mgr., later in his career he worked at Waste Management.
He enjoyed time with his family and the simple things in life. He was a big John Wayne fan, enjoyed watching the Packers, win or lose and thunderstorms. He experienced a tornado in the late 60’s at the property on 7 mile road where he built his home in 1964.
Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday May 30th at 2pm at the Witkowiak Funeral Home (529 W. Historic Mitchell St. Milwaukee, WI 53204) followed by service at 3pm.
